SRPh invites scholars and researchers in humanities and social sciences from Europe and USA to submit an application for the
Advanced Study in Russian Culture
The courses are held in each of the following two-week periods:
5-18 July 2009, 4-17 July 2010, 3-21 July 2011
Successful applicants will be offered courses in Russian culture, history, art, religion, philosophy, Russian language; in addition there will be provision for accommodation (in families or hotel), two meals per day of study, and a cultural programme.
Among the facilities provided is a good opportunity to read about the fields of research in the famous Russian National Library as well as to participate in and contribute to an intensive series of lectures. There are other places of interest within easy reach of St.Petersburg.
Candidates for the Summer Courses programme are requested to submit a formal application not later than:
1 May 2008 for 2009 participation
1 May 2009 for 2010 participation
1 May 2010 for 2011 participation

Courses are organised in such way that you can attend 2-3 cycles in two weeks (total 40 - 48 hours). After finishing Summer Courses you will pass test in subjects and get certification.
